Ayumilove’s Diary: This is a tutorial which guides you on how to develop a simple smooth preloader for your flash games. This is my first video tutorial on flash! Anyone good in macromedia flash ??? DIY – do it yourself lol Below is a link for written tutorial www.actionscript.org Why we need a preloader? It is used to improve the playback performance of huge movies (more than 1mb?). It prevents macromedia flash from instantly playing the flash movie and allows user to download the whole movie first in order to view it without any lag/jerk. It could be used for flash games, flash movies, flash presentation (streaming on Internet) and lots more.
